Free Agent Forward Brings Emerging Talent to Lehigh Valley

Allentown, PA – The Lehigh Valley Spirits have signed forward Nico Williams ahead of the club’s inaugural Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) season in 2026-27.

Williams, 27, enters the next chapter of his professional career with Lehigh Valley after spending his first two MASL seasons with the Baltimore Blast.

In 31 career MASL appearances, Williams has totaled 10 points on seven goals and three assists while continuing to establish himself as an emerging offensive threat.

Last season marked a breakout campaign for the Chicago native, as he set career highs in scoring with six goals and three assists across 17 games.

One of his most impressive stretches came during the regular season when he recorded two goals in his season debut on December 31, 2025, powering Baltimore to a 5-2 win over Utica City FC and securing the first multi-point game of his MASL career. He followed up the breakthrough outing with another two-goal performance on March 6.

Williams also delivered in key moments for Baltimore, scoring in the Blast’s Game 1 victory during the MASL Semifinals on April 10 at Milwaukee.

In addition to his MASL experience, Williams recently competed in The Soccer Tournament (TST) with TMT Chicago.

His arrival in Lehigh Valley also marks a reunion with Jairo Guevara, the Spirits’ first-ever MASL Expansion Draft selection, after the two previously played together in Baltimore.
